The Problem

Federal government agencies must ensure the success of continuity of operations programs (COOP) in the face of emergencies and disruptions resulting from everything from cyber attacks to hurricanes, earthquakes, blizzards, pandemics, and other natural disasters. But even during normal operating conditions, an increasingly mobile workforce and federal government telework mandates require federal government agency managers to extend secure network access to federal government employees, partners, and constituents.

Whether in response to emergencies or attacks or to enable secure information sharing among federal government teleworking employees and partners, federal government agency managers must ensure continued, secure operations throughout federal government networks.

The Juniper Solution

A remote access system is a critical component of an overall federal government continuity system or teleworking strategy. Remote workers must have secure and reliable access to the federal government's key information databases and application servers. Juniper Networks SA Series SSL VPN Appliances lead the market with full-featured flexibility and cost-effective pricing.

ICE (In Case of Emergency) licensing options support sudden increases in network demand due to emergencies, allowing your federal government agency to be prepared and respond instantly to emergencies and other critical situations.

Core Solution Components

Security

  • SA Series SSL VPN Appliances: Extend clientless secure access to remote/mobile users, partners, and customers using a Web browser with endpoint security and granular access control.
